Class details:

Cindy Arthur – On Location:  Cindy will share how she chooses her locations, what she looks for, how she finds the light and shoots at different angles for more variety.  She will also talk through her posing workflow and how to get the most out of one location, demonstrating how she uses natural light and a reflector for the most pop in her photos. She will share her editing workflow including Evoto, LightRoom Classic and Photoshop. See how she uses a combination of PS Actions and hand edits to achieve her signature rich, bold, colorful edits.  You’ll learn how to check for and achieve perfect skin tones, dodging and burning for adding dimension to your images and tips and tricks for adding some WOW to your final images.

Paige Day – Step into her fun studio world as she shares how to create some of her show-stopping award-winning looks with off camera flash (OCF). Let’s step outside of the box and learn lighting, styling & shooting for a creative concept using a simply built set for unique, editorial results. Then for a second shoot, as a trained dancer herself and with over 20 years of experience in working with dancers, she’ll demonstrate her favorite go-to lighting techniques. Paige will also share important tips on how to work with dancers of all levels to get the best results and attract dance clients. Finally, as a presentation Paige will share some important business practices that can help ensure you build a profitable business for you and your family. What is the difference between revenue and profit? Why is the distinction important to understand for the health and longevity of your business? These and other business priciples will be discussed from a creative’s perspective. Paige is not a “numbers person” but her business and sales background, and the practices she has adopted in her own business have helped her build and continue to grow her studio consistently for over 20 years. She is passionate about sharing what has helped her in order to help you build your dream business!

Selessa Holmberg – Join her at the ocean for a shoot like no other ! You’ll experience a breathtaking location, gorgeous models and Selessa’s dreamy styling. Learn her on location OCF lighting tricks and tips that make her iconic images pop! In a second shoot, Selessa takes you downtown for a city shoot. Known for her bold, colorful downtown looks, Selessa will share her signature styling and natural posing techniques along with her OCF lighting approach in that environment. Finally, Selessa will reveal the editing secrets that add the special magic to her unforgettable style. You will watch and learn how she creates those renowned images that so perfectly reflect her brand! Selessa will also share how she uses AI tools in her own editing process when needed. The AI tools can be simple or advanced.
